The STAR - EAST Program

This HIV and TB treatment program is being implemented by the Inter-religious council in collaboration with the Management Sciences for Health (MSH), National Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS (NACWOLA) and JCRC to deliver HIV/AIDS services in Eastern Uganda under the STAR-E project.

The objectives of the project are to: -

Increase uptake of comprehensive HIV/TB services within supported districts,
Strengthen decentralized public and private service delivery systems,
Deliver quality HIV/TB services through facilities and communities,
Strengthen networks and referral systems, and
Increase the demand for comprehensive HIV & AIDS/TB prevention, care, and treatment services.
