JCRC Luwero Sickle Cell Camp: Providing Hope and Healing

In line with celebrating our 30th anniversary, JCRC on Tuesday, July 25th, 2023, collaborated with Luwero District Hospital and held a special medical camp dedicated to provide comprehensive health care support, and educative sessions for those living with sickle cell disease. This medical camp targeted clients with SCD from Luweero and surrounding districts as far as Nakasongola and Nakaseke. We offered free, counseling, consultation services, awareness sessions and giving free medicine like Hydroxyurea to the patients.
