JCRC offers structured student internship programs that provide hands-on experience in clinical research, laboratory science, public health, etc. Through this program, students from diverse academic backgrounds gain practical skills and exposure to real-world health and research environments under the mentorship of seasoned professionals. The internship not only enriches academic knowledge but also fosters professional growth, ethical conduct, and an appreciation for multidisciplinary collaboration in tackling health challenges in Uganda.

JCRC hosts exchange visits for local and international organizations, offering a platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and capacity building. These visits allow partners to learn from JCRC’s expertise in HIV/AIDS care, research, laboratory diagnostics and health systems strengthening. Visiting teams benefit from interactive sessions, facility tours, and experience-sharing discussions that promote innovation and best practices. These exchange visits foster mutual learning and lead to strategic partnerships aimed at addressing global health challenges.

JCRC plans to begin offering certificate and diploma programs aimed at building capacity in laboratory management. These programs are designed to equip health professionals and students with the specialized skills and knowledge necessary to improve healthcare service delivery and support evidence-based decision-making. With a curriculum tailored to meet both national and international standards, these training programs serve as a platform for advancing careers and enhancing institutional capacity in health systems strengthening.
