On Friday 11th September 2026, we hosted the Joint Annual Staff Thanksgiving Prayers at the headquarters in Lubowa, bringing staff together in a moment of gratitude, reflection, and fellowship.
We were joined by religious leaders and representatives from the Catholic, Anglican, Adventist, Muslim, and Pentecostal faiths which was a powerful reflection of the unity that underpins JCRC’s work.
The prayers were held as an opportunity to thank the Almighty for JCRC’s achievements and milestones over the past year, while seeking continued guidance and blessings for the journey ahead. Staff and faith leaders prayed for the sustainability and growth of the institution, wisdom and strength for its leadership, and God’s protection and wellbeing over every member of staff.
Special prayers were also offered for the success of JCRC’s Bone Marrow Transplant fundraising drive, as well as for all ongoing and planned projects and initiatives under the institution.
This years’ service was led by the Seventh Day Adventist Church, with the reading and reflection drawn from Psalm 124, a psalm of thanksgiving for deliverance and God’s faithfulness.
JCRC extends special appreciation to Reverend Father Emmanuel Ssewanyana, Reverend David Sekitoleko, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Elder Moses Kiguddu, and Haji Mansoor Kasozi for sparing the time to join staff for this year’s prayers.
As JCRC looks ahead, this year’s Thanksgiving Prayers served as a reminder of the strength found in unity, faith, and shared purpose that continue to guide the institution’s work and its people.
